XPE , EPE and IXPE are all polyethylene foam, but their foaming process are different. XPE and IXPE can be fireproof, while EPE is not; Also XPE and IXPE has longer use life than EPE, but EPE is much cheaper. For the difference of XPE and IXPE. XPE foam surface is rougher than IXPE foam surface. And XPE foam is cheaper.
2.What’s the difference between pure aluminum & metallic aluminum(MPET)?
Pure aluminum is metal film which can be fireproof, while metallic aluminum(MPET) is just plastic film which can be fire.
3.What’s the application of insulation?
Our insulation products are widely used on roofing, external wall, floor, HVAC pipe, transportation and any other places needing insulation.
4.What’s the structure of your pure aluminum film?
We use the pure aluminum film with PET/AL/PE layers, the PET can protect Al from oxidation and corrosion.
5.What is the insulation R-Value?
The insulation R value is the most important aspect of choosing insulation. It is the measure of the products resistance to heat transfer and is a guide to its performance as a heat insulator. The higher the R value, the more effective is the insulation in reducing heat flow into or out of the home. For reflective foil insulation, the quoted R value refers to the resistance of the structure (roof or wall) after the insulation has been installed. This accounts for the resistance of any air gaps, roof and ceiling materials and how the insulation is installed. The insulation R Value specified for a dwelling is determined with reference to the climate zone in which the dwelling is located.
6.What’s the advantage of your insulation?
Our insulations have good performance on heat-resistant, fireproof, waterproof, heavy duty, lightweight, Eco-friendly and so on.
7.What tools are needed for installation?
Staple gun, utility knife, nailes/screws, hammer, aluminum tape, etc.
8.What’s the use age?
If use indoor, can be 5-8 years; if use outdoor, can be 1-3 years; if use inside the wall, can be permanent.
9.What is a reflective insulating material?
It’s a thin layer covered on both sides by a low emission aluminium film
10.How does it works?
It can reflect the heat that it irradiated through the walls and roof of a building.
11.How is it fixed?
With a batten or planking to create a 2 cm cavity from the wall. Because it is a semi rigid roll it is easy to cut and shape without loose ends associated with other products. It can be fixed by one person with the minimum of specialist tools.
12.Why do I have to leave a gap?
Reflection is possible only through empty space or air. An air chamber is necessary to avoid the opposite effect of heat conduction.
13.How can I assess your product’s performance?
It is assessed through thermal resistance in the insulation system (the product and two air chambers). Another important characteristic is emissivity, which is the surface’s ability to release radiant energy. The lower the emissivity is, the higher the reflecting power. It has many independent test certificates including the National Physical Laboratory. The certification includes heat transference, fire and sound results.

15.What is PE foam?
Polyethylene foam is closed-cell, meaning it consists of cells so tightly packed together that it gives the appearance of one uniform structure. The reality is that the individual cells within polyethylene foam do not physically connect to one another. This cellular formation is similar to fish caught in a fisherman’s net.

17.Why choose Low-density polyethylene foam?
Low-density polyethylene foam has numerous applications because of its many desirable properties including water-resistance, chemical resistance, energy-absorbance, buoyancy and cushioning characteristics. Compressive strength is greater in denser foams, decreasing as density decreases. Low-density foams tend to exhibit more compressive creep, meaning they become less thick over time, than higher-density foams.
18.How can I know the suitable foam density I need?
Our PE foam density is between 23 kg/m3 and 500 kg/m3. We can provide the best solution for you according the application, Density, hardness, thickness. The free sample is available for your confirm and text.
19.How can I pay you?
After you confirm our PI, we will request you to pay. T/T (ABC bank), Paypal, Western Union are the most usual ways we are using for freight fees of PE foam samples.
20.What’s the order procedure?
First we discuss foam products details by email or TM. Then we issue you an PI for your confirmation. You will be requested to do pre-paid full payment or deposit before we go into production. After we get the deposit, we start to process the order. We usually need 7-15days if we don’t have the items in stock. Before production has been finished, we will contact you for shipment details, and the balance payment. After payment has been settled, we start to prepare the shipment for you.
21.How do you take care when your clients received defective foam products?
Replacement. If there are some defective foam products, we usually credit to our customer or replace in next shipment.
22.How do you check all PE foam in the production line?
We have spot inspection and finished product inspection of our foam materials. We check the PE foam materials when they go into next step production procedure.
